Cloverdale Footbridge

9999 Grierson Hill Rd, Edmonton

The Cloverdale Footbridge is a unique part of the Edmonton River Valley that has become a valuable public space since its opening in 1978. It bridges Louise McKinney Riverfront Park (on the north side of the river) with Henrietta Louise Edwards Park, acting as a key pedestrian route across the North Saskatchewan River for hundreds of Edmontonians each day. It is currently slated to be demolished for the upcoming LRT Valley Line.
